Graduation

My youngest cousin Shandee graduated from high school this year! How can that be? Anyway, we had a fantastic weekend at her graduation.

You can't tell very well from this picture but this school, which is 3A, has an orchestra! Most schools even quite a bit bigger than that don't have that. The music was beautiful!

One of the highlights of this weekend, for the boys, was getting to stay at Aunt Carol's house. She had a golf cart and kittens! Oh the boys were in HEAVEN! I just hope their grass recovers and the kittens weren't too traumatized. Ha!

Mother's Day 2011

I Love my Boys! Even though they changed out of their church clothes before we could get a picture.

And they got me Shari's Berries! These HUGE strawberries are soooo good! They got me a dozen and I shared very few! Supposedly, they are picked, dipped, shipped, and received all in the same day! Good choice guys!

Easter 2011

The Boys getting up and discovering their baskets.

We didn't get a family picture, which I can't believe! Before church just didn't happen and then after church the boys started taking their clothes off & getting dirty before I could get one in. UGH! It may have to be staged later.

Hunting Eggs

The kids checked out their loot.

Dying Eggs

This isn't a great picture but I made the little boys ties using this tutorial from the Purl Bee. It is so EASY and they turned out so cute!

Stitches x2

Part One: Jack Obey your parents!
We were at Tim's office eating lunch because I thought it would be faster and cheaper on a busy day. Tim and I were talking while making Easy Mac and the boys were doing their typical thing at daddy's office...writing notes, getting drinks, messing around with things they shouldn't. Jack came and grabbed a knife. I took it from him and told him he couldn't have a knife. He left but at some point must have come back to get it. So the next thing we know we hear Jack wimper and realize that he was trying to cut a mini carrot with the knife he wasn't supposed to have. Long story short it took four stitches and lunch wasn't short....Should have gone through McDonalds. At least it provided a precious lesson for Jack.

Part Two: Kaden's Turn
Less then a week later...I got a call from Kaden's school that he had gotten hurt on the playground and they thought it needed stitches. Which he did. Apparently, he had jumped from one bar to another and the only part of his body to make it was his chin. Just playing like a boy at recess!
