Growing Up
Monday night Tim sent me a text that said Jack had a loose tooth!
He lost it at school on Wednesday.
We celebrated by eating INSIDE McDonalds - Jack's request.
The tooth fairy brought him a dollar!
I can't believe how bitter sweet this is... another baby growing up!

Mini Ski Trip
A couple weeks ago Tim and my dad took the boys on a short weekend ski trip. They all had a great time even though: Jack threw up all night, Kaden was lost for an hour on the mountain, Jack hit two trees, and Kyler came home with a fever. They are all talking about going again!
Kyler went to ski school and they said he skied every chance he got! They even thought he was going to get to go on the big mountain his first day because he was so close to learning to stop.
(Orange Coat)
And he is done.
Kaden took off right away, which is why the only picture is him on the lift. He really liked going in the trees this time. He got lost when he fell down in the trees, Tim and my dad thought they had missed him and went down by the lift. Kaden then skied down to the lift - went past them, got back on the lift, and continued skiing by himself. Finally, he told ski patrol he was lost and about that time Tim saw him with ski patrol.
Jack needed another ski school lesson or maybe he needed his mom to help him. He had fun though and started to figure things back out by the end of the day after a few collisions with trees. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt.
I am pretty jealous I missed this trip. I was busy throwing a baby shower for my sister so I was happy to be able to do that without the help of all my boys. Also, I wouldn't have been able to ski anyway with Hudson so little. Next Year!

Good Nights = Good Days
Guess who slept 8 hours straight last night....Me and this little guy!
Hudson set a record in our house on the youngest to sleep all night at 5 weeks! Wow do I feel GREAT today!
Kyler slept all night at about 10 weeks (I think), Kaden at 12 weeks, and Jack was like 9 months.
So, since I had so much extra energy this afternoon we loaded up the stroller and went for a walk to play at the park. These two little boys were happy Hudson slept all night too. Ha!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
Last week the boys loved celebrating Dr. Seuss at school. What a fun day to be a preschooler!
Here is Kyler dressed as Thing 2 (with green hair). Note to self: next Halloween - stock up on ALL colors of hair color spray. With young kids you never know when they are going to need a certain color of hair! We didn't have blue and I couldn't find any.
And Kyler with his teacher.
The teacher in me couldn't let the boys only celebrate at school. We checked out several Seuss books from the library and ate green eggs and ham and Cat Hats.
Reactions to Green Eggs:
Kyler: Excited!
Jack: "(pouting face)Eggs are supposed to be Yellow" He did not Eat them.
Kaden:
He also did not eat them.
Tim did eat them but his initial reaction was pretty close to Kaden & Jack. I do have to admit Tim was making the eggs and as he turned his back I secretly added the green food coloring. So his reaction may have been more surprise. Next year we will try them with blindfolds before they see them.
The Dogs didn't care they were green. They happily ate everything the boys didn't.

Handprint Art
It all started with an idea I saw on the blog Eighteen 25 for these Hand Turkeys. The idea isn't new but framing our family in turkeys for the month of November was so fun both to make and to have hang in our kitchen.
So, when Thanksgiving was over I decided we must have something for Christmas so I found hand and foot reindeer.
And for January & February, Snowmen (my favorite so far)!
I Love this tiny snowman foot!
And to celebrate Dr. Seuss in March - Things!
I have several ideas lined up for the coming months.
My kids won't love this activity forever and honestly I don't think when their hands and feet are huge I will have them displayed on my kitchen wall but for now I love this precious reminder of the stage of life we are in.
