Jack is 1/2 a year old!

I can't believe Jack is already 6 months old! Actually this post is a little late he was 6 mos. on the 21st. Oh well. We went to his well baby appointment on Monday. He is 27 in. long and 16 lbs. 2 oz. Developmentally he is doing everything he is supposed to do. He is rolling everywhere and sitting up for a few minutes or until his brother knocks him over (usually on accident)! With Jack's new skills Kaden thinks he is big enough to wrestle. And Jack does like to have his brother roll him around a little, but it gets out of hand really fast. He did get put on Prevacid for his excessive spit up and he is going to see a pediatrician next week. Oh, and he has a flat head so the pediatrician will check that out as well. Hopefully, he won't have to wear a helment. Although, that might provide some protection from his brother!

We also got Kaden weighed and measured. He is still my "little" guy and actually not as big as I had hoped. He is 36 1/2" tall and weighs 28 lbs. 3 oz. So, unlike myself, I am hoping both boys gain weight in the next month!

Kaden or Jack?

One Snow Baby is Kaden in 2005 and one is Jack in 2007. Which one is which? (Answer to Follow)

.......................................................................................................................................................................

As many of you probably guessed. The 1st picture is Jack and the 2nd is Kaden. Not really the best pictures for comparison but fun to see them both in the snow for the 1st time. The difference: Kaden is 7 months old and Jack is 4 months old! I am sure there will be more "comparison" pictures in the future. Sometimes I think they look so different and other times I look at a baby picture of Kaden and can't believe it's not Jack.

Pirates & Potty Training

Argh Matey!
Ever since we got "Rupert the Wrong Word Pirate" from a Do-Re-Me & You party Kaden has really been into pirates and as you can tell Jack doesn't have a choice but to play along. We hunt lots of treasure and have a few sword fights. Jack can't wait until he can hold his own in a sword fight! It won't be long. I can see a pirate themed birthday party coming in June!
As for the potty training... We are doing it. We tried the One day method on Saturday. Although he was far from trained in 1 day I think it was a good start. I will have to say the Potty Power video is driving me nuts! Stay away from that one. We are on Day 3 and looking forward to being a 1 diaper houshold soon! Heres to POTTY POWER!

Catching up with the Kids & Technology

Well, here it goes. I am feeling the peer pressure to attempt a blog. I love keeping up with our friends and their precious kids so if you are interested I will share what my two are up to. My goal is to post weekly with stories & Pictures. Here we go...
