One of Tim's favorite sayings is "Why do a job in 5 minutes when you can let the kids help and it can take an hour?" ( he will substitute different times depending on the job: an hour/all day) That could not be more true when the kids "help" take out the trash. It starts by dragging the trash down to the dumpsters and then ends with a trip to see the horses, then to check the beans, then to play on the swingset, then an hour later back to the house. We wouldn't have it any other way!
Don't you love how something that is just a job to adults is an "event" to kids.
You see even our dogs have to join the trash parade.
